How it works:
Consigning at The Velvet Studio is simple, transparent, and rewarding. We accept gently loved women’s clothing in inclusive sizes, curated for seasonal relevance and current trends. Items are reviewed, priced to sell, and displayed with care so they stand out on the floor. Whether you’re making space in your closet or creating a flexible side income, our process is designed to help your pieces shine - and sell. Compensation:
Consigning with The Velvet Studio is designed to be simple, transparent, and rewarding. We thoughtfully curate clean, modern women’s clothing with a focus on quality, fit, and timeless style - giving each piece the best opportunity to shine in our boutique.
We offer tiered payouts:
Earn 40 - 55% cash based on an item’s final selling price, or choose store credit and receive 10% more.
Premium items priced at $500+ are paid at a custom rate discussed at intake. Please refer to our Consignment Agreement for full details and current payout terms.
Store credit is issued per item sold and will be used toward clothing consignment purchases in the shop.

Payout Schedule:
Payouts are issued monthly, with the option to receive your earnings via ACH deposit or as store credit - perfect for shopping, gifting, or reinvesting in new favorites.
We use the Ricochet Consignment app. You will be able to track your inventory and payouts.
