How it Works:
Makers can showcase their work at The Velvet Studio by renting dedicated shelf or display space and earning a percentage from each sale. This gives you a consistent, welcoming place to share your creations in a thoughtfully curated boutique with daily foot traffic, professional styling, and ongoing marketing support through our website, social media, and in-store events. There’s no need to staff a booth or manage a storefront - just bring your art, and we’ll help it shine alongside other unique pieces that make our studio special.
Our 70% Maker / 30% The Velvet Studio consignment split is designed to support both our Makers and the boutique. The monthly rental helps maintain a vibrant, well-curated space, while the generous 70% return encourages Makers to stay engaged, restock often, and grow their brand. This model allows us to showcase serious, high-quality artisans while keeping the shop full of unique, thoughtfully made pieces our customers love. To provide dedicated display space and consistent presentation, makers participate in a monthly shelf fee based on the size of their display area.
